Tara and Paul couldn’t have picked more perfect venues at which to get married! The ceremony was in St Patrick’s Church, Celbridge and then onto the truly unique and beautiful Village at Lyons just outside Celbridge village. I could never do it justice trying to describe it, by maybe you’ll get an idea from this clip of their wedding:
I’ve always loved the name Prosperous for a town. Reminds me of a town you might see in a movie like Pale Rider or Josey Wales!
Although Prosperous in Co. Kildare is not quite the frontier town of my overactive imagination, it does boast a beautiful church at which Dee and Garry got married recently.
The reception was at The Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge. It’s a really beautiful hotel with great gardens and one of the most impressive ballrooms I’ve seen. And the always great band, The Kaye Twins, provided the entertainment into the morning.
Here is a snippet of their day:
A week or so after publishing the trailer for Melissa and Des (see post below), I’ve now finished the DVD. The wedding ceremony was at Belmont Co. Offaly. The reception was in the impressive Glasson Country House Hotel.
It is very obvious from the video below that everyone had a blast. Although I’m not sure golf cart suspensions are supposed to be used like this! Have a look at the clip and you’ll see what I mean!
I’m still working on Melissa and Des’s wedding but am really happy with the way it it turning out. So, I put together this little teaser trailer from what I have so far:
Kilcommon Church in Tinahealy, Co. Wicklow was the venue chosen by Anna and Pat and then onto the lovely and unique Ballybeg House. We had to dodge a few showers, but that didn’t seem to bother anyone. The house itself is small and offers a very personal and intimate setting. The reception was in the marque on the grounds.
Last summer, Suzanne and Mark had their marraige ceremony in the lovely Oblate Community Church on Tyrconnell Rd in Inchicore, Dublin. The beautiful grounds behind the church feature a Stations of the Cross garden. We managed to get some great photos of the bridal party there before leaving for the Osprey Hotel in Naas. There the guests were entertained by an excellent caricaturist and also a very talented magician!
